Universal will release Friday Night Lights, which Larry King has called “One of the greatest sports movies ever made”, on January 18th. This disc will be presented in a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 and French & Spanish Dolby Digital 2.0 audio tracks. Extras will include deleted scenes, a “player cam” feature, and a featurette entitled “Story of the 1988 Permian Panthers”.
