Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release Frank Miller’s Sin City in a barebones edition on August 16th. This Robert Rodriguez directed film starring Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen and Brittany Murphy will be presented in a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with both English DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks. No extra material will be included on this release… starting much talk of a future Special Edition re-release.
