Universal Home Entertainment will release The Deer Hunter (Legacy Series) on September 6th. This Special Edition release will be presented in a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with a Dolby Digital 2.0 and Mono audio tracks. Extras will include an Audio Commentary (with Cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond and Film Journalist Bob Fisher), Deleted/Extended Scenes, the Original Theatrical Trailer, and Production Notes.
