Universal will release Michael Bay’s latest action/adventure film The Island (starring Ewan McGregor, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Buscemi & Michael Clarke Duncan) on December 13th. The disc will be presented in an anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. Extras will include an audio commentary (with director Michael Bay) and a behind-the-scenes featurette on the action sequences and stunts. I can already smell a Special Edition re-release in the near future.
