Universal will release the Deluxe Extended Edition of the Peter Jackson film King Kong (starring Naomi Watts, Jack Black & Adrien Brody) on November 14th. This 3-disc set will feature the film presented in a 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen transfer, along with a Dolby Digital 5.1 (English) audio track. A separate limited edition giftset will also be released. In terms of extras, here is what each disc will offer…
Disc One will feature Part One of an Audio Commentary with Director…Peter Jackson & Producer Phillipa Boyens, as well as Sixteen Deleted Scenes (Totalling around 40 Minutes)
Disc Two will feature Part Two of the Jackson & Boyens Commentary, as well as three Featurettes (”The Eighth Blunder of the World,” “The Present” & “A Night in Vaudeville”), a King Kong Homage, Weta Collectables, as a collection of Trailers
