Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release Lords of Dogtown (starring Heath Ledger, Emile Hirsch, John Robinson & Victor Rasuk) in separate theatrical (107 min.) and unrated (109 min.) editions on September 27th. Specs have yet to be announced, but we will pass them on as they are made available.

Well Star Wars fans, Fox Home Entertainment has just announced the release of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith for November 8th. The specs on this release are still up in the air, but as far as we know, this disc will feature Dolby Digital EX audio, along with an Audio Commentary, a brand new long-form Documentary, Behind the scenes & Making-of Featurettes, Deleted scenes, and much more. We will pass on more info as it is made available.

Warner Home Video will release the teen-flick Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants on September 27th. This discs will be presented in a 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with Dolby Digital 5.1 (English & French) audio tracks. No word of extras as of yet, but we will pass on any further information on this release as it is made available.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy on September 13th. This disc will be presented in a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with THX-certified DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks. Extras will include two audio commentaries (the first with Executive Producer Robbie Stamp and Douglas Adams colleague Sean Solle; the second with Director Garth Jennings, Producer Nick Goldsmith and Actors Martin Freeman and Bill Nighy), a making of documentary, an extra ...ntry from the "Guidebook" seen in the film, deleted scenes (including fake deleted scenes), a "So Long & Thanks For All The Fish" sing along, and a Hangman word game.

Paramount Home Entertainment will release the 2005 remake of The Longest Yard (starring Adam Sandler & Chris Rock) on September 20th. This disc will be presented in an anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. Extras will include an Audio Commentary (by Director Peter Segal), Deleted/Extended/Alternate Scenes, an "Errtime" Music Video by Nelly, a Behind-the-Scenes Featurette, and a collection of tTrailers.

Miramax Home Entertainment will release the Collector's Edition of the Academy Award Winning Chicago on September 13th. This 3-disc set will be presented in a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with both English Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS audio tracks. Extras will include an audio commentary (with the Director and Screenwriter), extended musical performances, song rehearsals, Chita Rivera’s Encore, a "From Stage To Screen: The History of Chicago" documentary,An Intimate Look at Director Rob Mar...hall feature, featurettes on the Academy Award winning costume and production designers, a "VH1 Behind The Movie" featurette, a Deleted Musical Number, a "Behind the Scenes" featurette, and a sixteen track movie soundtrack.

On March 30th, Universal will release the 25th Anniversary Edition of the John Belushi &Dan Aykroyd film The Blues Brothers. This disc will include the theatrical version (2:13) as well as an expanded edition (2:28) of the film, both presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 (Extended) & English Dolby Digital 2.0 (Theatrical) audio tracks. Extras will include an introduction by Dan Aykroyd, a Behind-the-Scenes Documentary, Concert Footage and more.
