On April 19th, Sony Pictures will release the critically acclaimed film House of Flying Daggers. This disc will be presented in an anamophic widescreen transfer, along with an audio commentary, a making of featurette, a music video and a photo gallery. More details, including audio formats and confirmed extras will follow shortly.

Fox Home Entertainment will release the Jennifer Garner comic-book adventure known as Elektra on April 5th. The disc will be presented in an anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with both English DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks. Extras will include deleted scenes, a "Making-of Elektra" featurette, an "Inside the Editing Room" feature, a Comic-Con Presentation, trailers, a soundtrack promo, and an "Inside Look" at the Fantastic Four and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Warner Home Video will release the extremely controversial Nicole Kidman film Birth on April 9th. This disc will be presented in a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen tranfer, along with both English Dolby Digital 5.1 & DTS 5.1 audio tracks. As for extras, this disc will include the theatrical trailer, and DVD-ROM features.

On May 3rd, Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release the Nicholas Cage action film National Treasure in seperate widescreen and fullscreen editions. Each disc will feature a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track, as well as Deleted scenes and an Alternate Ending (with optional director's commentary), four featurettes ("National Treasure On Location", "the Knights Templar", "Treasure Hunters Revealed" & "Riley's Decode This!), Three challenge games, and an opening scene animatic (also with optional Director's co...mentary).

On April 12th, Universal will release the Seed of Chucky in three seperate editions - the theatrical cut (fullscreen) and an unrated cut (widescreen & fullscreen). Each disc will feature English Dolby Digital 5.1 & DTS 5.1 audio tracks along, and a slew of extras... an Audio Commentary (with director Don Mancini and Jennifer Tilly), a "Family Hell-iday" Slide Show, a new "Conceiving The Seed of Chucky" featurette, Jennifer Tilly's video diary from The Tonight Show, and "FuZion Up Close with the Seed of Chu...ky" interviews. The unrated versions will also include a "Heeeeeere's Chucky!" in-depth interview including Chucky's early screen tests, deleted scenes, and more.

Paramount Home Entertainment will release the Jude Law film Alfie in separate anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen editions on March 15th. Each disc will feature a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks, 2 audio commentaries, 8 deleted scenes (with optional commentary), 5 behind-the-scenes featurettes, image galleries, as well as trailers.

Lions Gate Home Entertainment will release the shock horror film Saw on February 15th. This disc, released in separate widescreen and full frame editions, will feature an Audio Commentary (with Director James Wan and Writer/Actor Leigh Whannell), a Making of "Bite the Hand That Bleeds" featurette, a Making of Saw featurette, as well as Fear Factory's "Bite the Hand That Bleeds" Music Video.

Warner Home Video will release Exorcist: The Beginning on March 1st. This disc be presented in a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. Extras will include an audio commentary (with director Renny Harlin), a making-of featurette, and the theatrical trailer. The Paul Schrader version of the film will not be included on this single-disc release.

Fox Home Entertainment will release the Dustin Hoffman, Isabelle Huppert, Jude Law, Jason Schwartzman and Naomi Watts comedy I Heart Huckabees on February 22nd. This dual-sided disc will include both anamorphic widescreen and full screen presentations, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. Extras will include two audio commentaries (The first with director David O. Russell; the second with cast members Jason Schwartzman, Mark Wahlberg and Naomi Watts), two featurettes ("Production" & "Behind the S...enes of the Detective's Infomercial"), 22 deleted scenes, five cast outtakes, a segment of the Charlie Rose Show, a long version of the Infomercial, six Open-Spaces Coalition PSA's, a photo montage, an inside look at 'In Her Shoes', TV spots and trailers.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release the John Travolta & Joaquin Phoenix film Ladder 49 on March 8th. This disc will be presented in a 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen transfer, along with a THX certified Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track as well as an Enhanced Home Theater audio mix. Extras will include an audio commentary (by Director Jay Russell and Editor Bud Smith), deleted scenes, two featurettes ("Everyday Heroes" & "Making of Ladder 49”), and a "Shine Your Light" music video performed by Robbie Robertson....
