Gino Sassani is a member of the Southeastern Film Critic's Association (SEFCA) and The Critics Association of Central Florida (CACF) where he is a member of the governing board. He is a film and television critic based in Tampa, Florida. He's also the Senior Editor here at Upcomingdiscs. Gino started reviewing films in the early 1990's as a segment of his local television show Focus. He's an award-winning recording artist for Omega Records. Gino is currently working on his 8th album Merchants & Mercenaries. Gino took over Upcomingdiscs Dec 1, 2008. He works out of a home theater he calls The Reel World. Favorite films: The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, The Body Snatcher (Val Lewton film with Karloff and Lugosi, not the pod people film), Unforgiven, Gladiator, The Lion King, Jaws, Son Of Frankenstein, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, and Monsters, Inc.

Ken Valgardson – he is a comedian we see reg at the comedy club…a teacher during the week and quite frankly the funniest stand up comedian I have ever seen…I have never seen any of the actors that everyone else mentioned in person so I can not comment on them and I don’t feel a movie role makes a person ‘funny’ or talented

  48. I like Jerry Seinfeld as it is always so true to life comedy. But, I remember seen Bill Crosby once and he is a close second.

  53. My favorite commedian these days is Charlie Sheen. He is so darn funny in Two and a Half Men

  62. Steve Martin is my favorite comedian. I wish he would make more good films, instead of Pink Panther retreads. Ugh!

  76. Russell Peters is my favorite comedian. I have never laughed more than the first time I heard his routine.

  82. My fav comedian is Jerry Seinfeld. He’s really the only one that makes me laugh consistantly and for more than a few years (not a flash in the pan).
