Christmas 1979. My family, including myself, felt so down and depressed. Then, we watched A Christmas Story and we were so delighted we got Christmassy, put up our tree and all the little things including taking bags of groceries to the food bank which always makes us feel great.

The year our children were big enough to really enjoy Christmas – opening their own presents and sharing the joy and excitement of the holiday.
