Our friends over at Entertainment One continue to provide even more prizes. They have given us yet another great prize to give away. They’ve given us three copies of Lord Of The Dance on high definition Blu-ray. “From the moment the lights go down to the last encore, audiences are spellbound by a masterfully orchestrated combination of precision dancing, state of the art lighting and pyrotechnics.” To win a copy of this prize, follow these instructions.

Gino Sassani is a member of the Southeastern Film Critic's Association (SEFCA) and The Critics Association of Central Florida (CACF) where he is a member of the governing board. He is a film and television critic based in Tampa, Florida. He's also the Senior Editor here at Upcomingdiscs.     The last time I danced was probably 3 weeks ago, I was dragged by some friends to a local music festival. I have 2 left feet but I did my best, thankfully it was dark outside hehe!

  18. I just danced with MyDaughter in the last hour as we watched PHINEAS AND FERB’s movie on Disney, and a few hours before that MyHusband&I danced together in front of OurChildren 🙂

  41. I love to dance I always have it takes me away and helps me forget my troubles. I use to volunteer and teach pysical and mentally delayed people how to dance. It was so rewarding when they came back the next week and told me that they went to a dance and they were the only ones who knew how to dance to a song.

  45. The last time I danced, unfortunately, was June 27th, 2007. I was a dancer all my life, taking several different styles, and an instructor of Highland Dancing.

    On that day, I was doing a shuffle step of the Sailor’s Hornpipe (a similar dance step to Irish dance) and the long bone from my little toe down the bottom of my right foot broke, which made me turn my right ankle, which broke, and then I fell, breaking my left foot, too.

    I didn’t get surgery for 5 months and was in a wheelchair for 7 months, and had to learn to walk again. Four years later, my right ankle still hurts a lot and I am paranoid to bounce on either foot, so no more Highland dancing.

    Perhaps Michael Flatley will inspire me to start dancing again, even in a different style that is less of an impact. He is a year and a bit older than I am and if he can still dance, maybe I can too.

  50. I try and dance everyday with my children. I want them to experience the joy music and dancing can bring. If you ask most people when the last time they stopped dancing it was when they were young because they were embarassed, I hope this never happens to my children.

  55. I LOVE to watch dancing competitions and shows, however, I’ve always had a phobia about dancing! 🙁 I am so self conscious and have never felt comfortable dancing! I even refused to dance at my own wedding! Michael Flatley is amazing!

  57. I last danced with my wonderful husband at BamaJam, a local music event we have in our area. I do hope we have it again next year!

  60. Its been so long that I don’t even recall. Amazing ballet teacher I had she always called me her little pumpkin. I loved dancing for her and the class, 9 years of it. I don’t know why I ever left. The told me I was good and well balanced.
    Peer pressure, I guess. It was as though no one was there except the music and I… really quite incredible. You get lost in it.
    Polish Dancing in my authentic outfit with my long braided hair and crowns of flowers, performed in Toronto for 5 years. The music was electrifying, made you feel so alive, it was as though I never wanted to stop, oh what energy…. When I was a little girl I had to entertain the elders that came to visit the family so I often chose to dance and the elders loved me as a partner, I started young. They took their top hats off and threw money in it. I always managed to get the most money. I never saw any of it though, my mom took it.
    I guess she thought she needed it for the training.
    Guess what, I got married. My husband didn’t care for the fine arts. Wow, how did I ever decide to pick him. No more dancing, what a tragedy. I often went to the theater….I lost myself in the performance…I actually in visioned myself on that stage and wow was I dancing. I need to be inspired again. Currently, no more husband, he was no good for me anyway. I want to start dancing again. I am getting tired of my broomstick as a partner. Maybe you can help me.

  63. I danced just this afternoon (as I often do when listening to the radio). Ravel’s “Bolero” always gets me moving, as do many other music genres. When the mood takes me, I dance.

  67. The last time I went dancing was last week-end. These days, unfortunately, although I love to dance, the “old bod” doesn’t want to cooperate, so I enjoy the music and watching others dance.
    What a contrast to about 30 years ago when I actually won a “Disco Contest” while on vacation in Club Med Paradise Island, Bahamas!
    Dancing is magical, no matter what type, or how good you are at it! I love everything about it. How I wish I could do the phenomenal dancing of “Lord of the Dance.”
    I would absolutely love to win this DVD! As I would watch it, I would dance “vicariously” through them. Thank you.

  69. The last time I went dancing was last week-end with friends. I’m not a great dancer, by any stretch, but I do “let the music take me away!”
    I had Irish friends who used to do a “mean” Lord of the Dance. Sadly, they’re no longer with us. Winning this DVD would bring back wonderful memories of my good friends. That would mean the world to me!

  120. It has been WAY too long since I last went dancing. With four kids it is really hard to get a good sitter and out much. However, I went dancing back in July with my DH while we were in NY visiting his family. (yup, built in sitter with Grandma who doesn’t see the kids often 😀 )
