Ever thought about making your own zombie movie? In their continuing effort to help us kick start this year’s 31 Nights Of Terror our very good friends over at Barron’s want to share some more reading that’s to die for. This time it’s “Filming The Undead: How To Make Your Own Zombie Movie“. This book covers it all from how to create make-up effects to understanding the technology of shooting a movie. Who will be the next George Romero? To win a copy of this prize, follow these instructions.

Gino Sassani

Gino Sassani is a member of the Southeastern Film Critic's Association (SEFCA) and The Critics Association of Central Florida (CACF). He is a film and television critic based in Tampa, Florida. He's also the Senior Editor here at Upcomingdiscs. Gino started reviewing films in the early 1990's as a segment of his local television show Focus. He's an award-winning recording artist for Omega Records. Gino is currently working on his 8th album Merchants & Mercenaries. Gino took over Upcomingdiscs Dec 1, 2008.     George A. Romero – I am a huge fan of zombie films and there’s no one better than the director that defined the genre.

    George Romero – Great plot lines, really terrifying zombies and monsters, and solid acting performances that he elictded make this guy a genre genius.
