Well believe it or not I was dog sitting for my twenty six year old daughter. She went and visited friends for three days. My New Years was rather peaceful, just the way I like it. Oh, and I’d rather babysit a grandchild next time then that crazy, naughty dog of hers! 🙂
I brought in the New Year by having dinner with my mother, her friend, my husband and son and then watched a movie at her home and then watched the New Years Eve special from New York and the ball drop
That’s obvious … watched DVD movies … and kissed my wife.

4 generations of family got together and laughed, played games and ate good food!
We rented a movie and ate munchies after the kids went to sleep. We did make it past midnight this year (which was a first lol)

I fell asleep on the couch at 9:00 – woke up at 10:00 and got up and went to bed. Exciting, huh?
Well we went to bed early and caught up on some sleep!!

To bring in the New Year… My family and I rented movies. Family time is the best way to end and begin a year.
I took my son to a play date. He played with his best friend, while his mom and I ate junk food and watched a marathon of Breaking Bad until 1 in the morning.

So for New Years I baby sat for
my grand kids and allowed my daughter & her husband go out for dinner & dancing.

Don’t remember the New Year
We played Walking Dead Yahtzee, ate some great food and had a fire in the fire pit and burned our wishes at midnight. Then we watched Miami drop a drag queen named Sushi as she sat upon a giant high heel! It was AWESOME!
Unfortunately I slept thru the ball drop, but woke up a little later and gave my son a big hug.
I had friends over for the new year. We talked and ate together and laughed and had a great time.
We made some lobster and clams, rented a movie and brought it in quietly.

To bring in the New Year, my family made snacks and played LCR for lottery tickets. We laughed and laughed. Fun night.
