Bela Lugosi returned to the role of Dracula for the 2nd and last time for this farce. It was also the final appearance of Lon Chaney, Jr. as The Wolf Man. I would have said ‘Evil Dead II’ was the funniest horror-comedy I ever saw. But keeping in-line with the “earlier classic” comedy-horror theme… I’m going to have to go with the classic comedy-horror movie ‘The Ghost and Mr. Chicken’ (1966) starring the late, great, comic legend, Don Knotts!

The “funniest” horror/comedy I think I ever saw would probably have to be Zombie Strippers. (I never thought I’d see a movie that had Robert Englund & Jenna Jameson as lead characters too.)

Slither (2006), because it was a witty mixture of comedy and horror that didn’t skimp on the gore. It is extremely underrated.

I think Young Frankenstein is probably the funniest comedy/horror film of all time, but this one is really close. Honorable mentions go to Shaun of the Dead and A Polish Vampire in Burbank.
