In the greatest tradition of 1950’s producers like William Castle comes The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra. Castle fans will appreciate the “Filmed in Skeletovision” gag on the cover art. This is a wonderful send-up of the 1950’s science fiction genre. Most of the acting is deliberately over the top and the gags are often too obvious… but this is funny stuff. The music cues are dead on. Fans of Mystery Science Fiction Theatre 3000 will also find this film entertaining to the extreme. Andrew Parks steals the show wit... his portrayal of alien Kro-Bar. His facial expressions alone are worth watching this film.

Synopsis
Mousy scienties Rosetta Stone (Tilda Swinton) creates three Self Replecating Automatons(SRAs): the glamorous Ruby, Marinne and Olive (all played by Swinton). The SRAs need themale Y chromosome to survive, so Ruby ventures forth from their home periodically for someanonymous sex. She saves the condoms, which are subsequently used as tea bags. The SRAs pinefor independent life, and Ruby oversteps her bounds, thus risking discovery for them all.

Synopsis
Dean Cain arrives at a secret base in California to take over as head of security from hisRussian predecessor. (Why is the other guy Russian? Because the movie was shot in EasternEurope.) He arrives in time for a DNA cloning experiment conducted by the chief scientist/chiefweasel (whose accent sounds more like Moscow than the Chicago of which he supposedly anative). The experiment results in the Jurassic Park-style resurrection of a fire-breathingdragon.

Well if you don’t know what is going on in this film then I am not quite sure why you are reading this review. This is the third and final installment of the Lord of the Ring’s trilogy, we finally after three long years get to discover the fate of Frodo, the ring, Sam, Gollum and all of Middle Earth. This film like The Two Towers just keeps getting better and managing to exceed our ever increasing expectations.
The multiple story lines all come together and finally conclude themselves, maybe not quite exac...ly as it is in the book but some changes had to be made. The only complaint about the film itself is that the endings seem to drag on longer then necessary but again when viewed in the context of the books it actually wraps up quite neatly and quickly. Nonetheless the film is superb and for all those collectors out there we are still waiting with baited breath for the announcement of the 4 disc extended cut but, this will keep is satisfied until then.

Lance Henriscksen has no luck. He loses his job as FBI bomb disposal guy after the bombhe's trying to deal with goes boom. A year later, heading up a private security firm in Munich, thesame terrorists screw his life again. This time, they've set multiple nukes to go off all overEurope. The detonator is contained somewhere in the terrorist leader's body, and it will betriggered if he dies. The solution? Shrink Henricksen and team to nano-level and inject them intothe wounded terror...st's body to find and disarm the detonator.

The Final Countdown belongs to that subculture of science fiction that asks the time related what if’s. There have been a great number of books and stories about alternative histories. The Civil War has long been one of the most fertile grounds for this speculative fiction. Most scenarios about World War II generally involved the killing of Hitler as a child or sometime before his leadership. This film not only explores a different aspect of the War but is brave enough to not resolve the question. What would happen i... a modern aircraft carrier were to arrive at the point of the Pearl Harbor invasion? The cast is a solid A-list. Martin Sheen, Kirk Douglas, Katherine Ross, and James Farentino are the vanguard of the spectacular cast. The film received a tremendous amount of cooperation from the U.S. Navy, and a considerable amount of shooting occurred on the USS Nimitz.

Synopsis
A rift has opened in the ocean floor beneath the Acrtic ice cap, melting the ice andthreatening to flood much of the world. (Never mind that this wouldn't happen: this is a moviewhere we see ice sink, just like in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.) The solution,ordered by some sort of world government cabal of the G8 at the "United Nations CommandCenter" (riiiiight) is to nuke the rift. Somehow, this will make everything all better. It turns out,however, that the rift ...as been created by giant intelligent electric eels from outer space (I kidyou not). In the undersea lab Hubris (okaaay) are tough soldier David Keith, ex-wife scientistSimmone Jade MacKinnon, and professional SOB Mark Sheppard. The SOB wants to nukeeverything, but MacKinnon works on establishing e-mail contact with the eels before everythinggets blown to hell.
