Summertime is here and we’re all going to have a bit too much to eat with all of those cookouts. Flatiron Film Company has the answer to help get you into that bathing suit or out on the dance floor. They’re giving us Dance Academy Season 1 (both volume 1&2). Dance along with these young stars as they try to reach their dreams. To win these two DVD’s just follow these instructions.

Gino Sassani
Gino Sassani is a member of the Southeastern Film Critic's Association (SEFCA) and The Critics Association of Central Florida (CACF) where he is a member of the governing board. He is a film and television critic based in Tampa, Florida. He's also the Senior Editor here at Upcomingdiscs. Gino started reviewing films in the early 1990's as a segment of his local television show Focus. He's an award-winning recording artist for Omega Records. Gino is currently working on his 8th album Merchants & Mercenaries. Gino took over Upcomingdiscs Dec 1, 2008. He works out of a home theater he calls The Reel World. Favorite films: The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, The Body Snatcher (Val Lewton film with Karloff and Lugosi, not the pod people film), Unforgiven, Gladiator, The Lion King, Jaws, Son Of Frankenstein, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, and Monsters, Inc.

I love Martha Graham because she helped change the dancing world and didn’t become a great dancer till she was older. She’s an inspiration that it’s never to late to start dancing.

Though I think that Fred Astaire was an excellent dancer, Ginger Rogers was better. She did it backwards and she did it in heels. No doubt the best dancer. Gene Kelly was also awesome, his Singing In The Rain is a classic.
