Synopsis
Three friends head out planning to lose their virginity. Misadventures ensue. You really don’tneed to know anymore about the plot than that, because you really, really, really don’t want towatch this amateurish, shot-on-video attempt to be an “urban” American Pie. Theassumptions behind the film seem to be that the target audience is completely stupid andundiscriminating, and will laugh uproariously at jokes lifted completely from other movies.Dreck of the lowest orde….
Audio
The 2.0 sound gets off to a bad start, with the credit music merely in stereo, with no surroundwhatever. Subsequently, the music does become surround, and almost drowns out the near-incomprehensible dialogue. The other surround FX are few and far between, and are largelyexaggerated for attempted comic effect.
Video
That the picture is widescreen (though not anamorphic) is the only thing in its favour. Thevideo origins are painfully obvious, the image is blurry, the grain is bad, the edges shimmer andbreak up, and the picture is very hard to look at without developing a headache. An awful, almostunwatchable transfer.
Special Features
None, for which we can be profoundly grateful. The menu’s main screen has some limitedanimation.
Closing Thoughts
Surely the target demographic deserves better than this. Nobody deserves something thisbad.
