Audio
The sound seems to be older than 1981. It’s in mono, which already means there isn’t toomuch to say. Though the distortion is kept to a minimum, there is some noticeable backgroundhiss.
Video
You have your choice of both fullscreen and 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen aspect ratios onthis disc. The contrasts are strong, the flesh tones are accurate, and the colours are bright. Thereis no problem with edge enhancement, but the grain level is an issue. Exteriors are fine, thedarker interiors are less so, and the first few minutes are particularly bad.
