Gaming with Criminals, Kinect is like Super Mario Bros & Mario Kart restores Vision? - Welcome to the column that will make you go blind if you don’t use both hands known as Dare to Play the Game.
Honestly, I didn’t do too much in the land de World of Warcraft. Mostly I gathered some Frost and Triumph emblems for my dwarf via Ahune (Mid-Summer Holiday boss) and a few heroics. My dps is still pretty poor honestly, but I’m getting better. I simply don’t play as much as most 80’s, so my gear isn’t uber. Heck, my gear score hasn’t even cracked 2,000 (it is around 1800 last I checked), so it is unreasonable to expect anything wonderful.

Xbox Kinect Bowling, Sony Talks About 3DS & Microsoft pushes again for PC Gaming? - Welcome to the column that thinks 3d gaming needs a large slap of reality known as Dare to Play the Game.
I’m back for another week with more World of Warcraft gaming nonsense. As it turns out, I did play my dwarf priest some more but most of my weekend involved getting my troll rogue closer to 80. He started the weekend at about 75 and a half and ended up on Sunday at 77. His gear is starting to get better and my dps is starting to improve. However, the last dungeon I was in, I was still near the bottom though I noticed my dps had improved considerably. I was part of the pack, not behind it.

Some E3 News, Summer of XBLA Arcade is back & What exactly is a Kinect? - Welcome to the column that will make the announcement at E3 that they write a gaming column every Wednesday known as Dare to Play the Game.
Well, I did it, finally. On Sunday, my Dwarf Priest finally reached level 80. Oddly enough, it was accomplished in Utgarde Pinnacle on the very last boss. It was a very nice feeling and it was good to have Sarah along with me to complete the task (especially since that was my first time in Utgarde Pinnacle). I went ahead and also ran my first heroic instance which was Culling of Stratholme and cleared it in quick enough time to get Sarah the Bronze Drake.

Lawsuits against Final Fantasy, Dungeon Siege 3 Info & Booth Babe restrictions? - Welcome to the column that is considering the idea of launching an expo called Gaming Pron 2011 featuring nothing but booth babes known as Dare to Play the Game.
All is better in World of Warcraft. After a second GM ticket and a lot more waiting, Sarah’s account is back for the most part. They restored Sarah’s 2 80’s, her 78 and my 75 rogue all in one piece from what I can tell. Now while they did restore her and my lower level characters, they kinda piece-mealed it (all of the equipment but many of the items had no stats) which means if we do want to play any of the lower levels again, we will have to build them back up with dungeon runs most likely.

Prince of Persia Box Office, PSPGo still Sucks & Hidden Xbox 360 games? - Welcome to the column that had its pile of shame declared a national terrorist threat known as Dare to Play the Game.
Well there is some good news and some bad news this week in the land of the World of Warcraft. Good news, my dwarf shadow priest is level 79 and about half-way home to 80. So, needless to say I am very happy that my character made it that far and look forward to a maxed out character. The only drawback is that once he hits 80, I might never play him again.

The Fall of the PSP, No German Violent Games Ban & Nintendo doesn’t make games for kids? - Welcome to the column that was two hundred columns in the making known as Dare to Play the Game.
I’m back from vacation, thanks for noticing. Thank you even if you didn’t notice, now quick you have 199 columns to read before you can enjoy this one (I have to get my hits somehow). This last week was spent in Bossier City, LA, not exactly a hot vacation spot but we had a lot of fun regardless. We also didn’t do any gambling there unless you count some horse racing which to me isn’t really gambling, it’s more like educated guesses.

Project Ten Dollar, 451 Weeks & Obama Doesn’t Know How to Work an XBox? - Welcome to the column that doesn’t know the first thing about politics but at least we are honest about it known as Dare to Play the Game.
I spent most of this week in between good ole World of Warcraft and Final Fight Double Impact. For Final Fight/Magic Sword, I took the time to beat each game (or in the case of Final Fight 3 times) at least once and get half of the achievements. I did however screw up the Guy achievement by accidentally switching to another character halfway into the game.

Fallout 3: New Vegas, Super Mario Crossover & When Will I Quit Gaming? - Welcome to the column that dares anybody to rip the controller from his cold dead hands known as Dare to Play the Game.
So, I looked at Tecmo Bowl Throwback all of last week and I simply could not bring myself to buy the darn thing. There is honestly only one reason why. The size of the players on the field. They are ridiculously small (in HD or Classic mode), to the point of picking one out for a particular play can be rather difficult. After a while I did get better with the demo, but never to the point where I felt comfortable. It’s a real shame and something of a disappointment.

I’ve been playing some fighting games lately. As some of you know, I’ve been collecting old xbox original games and came upon a complete copy of Dead or Alive 3 for $5. I actually cracked it open a day later (I’m shocked too) and played the arcade mode through on a couple of characters. I’ve never actually played the Dead or Alive series but it isn’t too far a departure from say Tekken or Virtua Fighter.
