Miranda flits between four men, trying to find the right lover and husband (to replace the onewho died in during WWII). And so we move from one nicely dressed set to another, for onebadly dubbed sexual encounter after another. Pretty, but dull.Audio
The sound is mono, and gets off to a rocky start, with a lot of hiss and static in thebackground as the credit music plays. The hiss diminishes afterwards, but you will have to put upwith the dubbing and wildly anachronistic dialogue.

The picture is in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, and suffers from a generally drab look, as ifthe entire picture were filmed on a cloudy day. The grain is light, but the blacks and contrastscould be deeper. The film depends a lot on pictorial beauty, but that doesn’t really come acrosshere.
Special Features
Instead of a commentary, there is a 30-minute interview with Tinto Brass (broken down intochapters). His English is a bit rudimentary at times, but he does have interesting things to say.The other features are a still gallery, filmographies for Brass and star Serena Grandi (who hasdone a lot of horror as well as erotica), and trailers for Miranda, The Key, and All Ladies DoIt.
Closing Thoughts
I’m not wild about the film, but I salute Cult Epics for making it available, and going theextra mile in providing the interview. Worth seeing for exploitation completists.
