Three best friends all born on the same day in the same hospital make a bet to help them find love. Each of them put two thousand dollars in a bank account and the first one that get get a girlfriend and live with her for 60 days wins. Nick the playboy makes a pact with a college friend, Al (played by Will Ferrell) embarks on misadventures in dating and Les finds himself a married woman of mystery who may be married to the mob. You can see the ending coming a mile away but, the story is still entertaining.

Video
The 1.33:1 fullscreen transfer is all over the map. At times the quality is very good, nice and sharp with good punchy colors and at other times it is grainy and washed out. We also have a half a dozen instances when the camera seems to go out of focus. The transfer is also plagued with edge enhancements.
Audio
This is a simple dialogue driven storyline so we have a clean dialogue transfer for the Dolby Digital 2.0 audio track. The front stage and rear speakers get very minimal usage and I don’t think my subwoofer kicked in one during the film. Dialogue is good and clean with a slight chestiness but, still easy to hear.
Special Features
Sorry folks, nothing to see here.
Final Thoughts
The film is your average guys looking for love romantic comedy, it is entertaining though, too bad the disc is a skimpy mixed bag.
