Video
The fullscreen live concert footage on this DVD is of pretty decent quality. Overall we have a nice sharp image with good dark level delineation, there are some problems with red in the crowd shots and you notice a fair amount of over saturation. The image as a whole is nice and crisp. When we look at the behind the scenes footage it is noticeably softer with a fair amount of grain.
Audio
At the beginning of the live portion you are presented with a choice between Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby 2.0 stereo. For a live concert video the audio is exceptionally good. The front stage is wide and well used with the surrounds filling crowd noise and ambience. Bass is somewhat boomy and overpowering but, that is what most live shows sound like so it was to be expected.

What an awesome well rounded extras package. Both the behind the scenes and outtakes are fantastic, they give you a good feeling of what Avril is really like off-stage. The fans that run out to purchase this disc will not be left feeling empty. Hats off to Fox & Arista records for doing things right, menus are scored and the transitions are animated.
Final Thoughts
I am not a real fan of Avril Lavigne but, the disc shows a young performer with a lot of potential. Add in an awesome extras package and this is a must own for any fan.
